How To Use A Custom Page/Post As The Homepage In Blogger

Sometimes, you may need to use a custom page or post as homepage in your blog. You may need to do this when you need all your viewers to see an exact page, especially when you only have one post/page in your blog. Or you can do this to make your viewers like a Facebook page to continue. This method is simple, but it's uncommon. Even I found it out recently.

1.First you need to publish the page or post you are going to use as the homepage.
2.Then go to blogger.com and go to the control panel of your blog.
3.Then choose Settings > Search preferences.
4.Go to Errors and redirections section and click Edit in Custom Redirects. You'll see a windows as in the following photo.

5.Now tick on the first small square.
6.In the first field enter a " / ". (without quotations)
7.In the second field enter the url of your page/post you want to use as the homepage.
8.Tick Permanent.
9.Then click Save.
10.After doing the above click Save changes.
